Fabio Domenico Mazzocchio

Fabio Mazzocchio (Agrigento, 1975) is an Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the Department of Humanities at the University of Palermo. He is a member of the PhD program in Humanities at the same university. From 2006 to 2011, he was Director of the Vittorio Bachelet Institute for the Study of Social and Political Problems in Rome. His research focuses on contemporary ethical thought and social philosophy. In particular, from the perspective of discourse ethics, he has studied intersubjectivity, forms of rationality, and the theory of recognition.
